    Resource Groups and Sub Groups

    Resource Groups and Resource Sub Groups are added to a Resource in the Resource Card. Resource Groups and Resource Sub Groups can be used to facilitate the following:

    • Grouped together on an invoice to the Customer.
    • Identify Costs by Group rather than individual Employee.
    • Identify Sales Prices by Group rather than individual Employee.
    • Facilitate budgeting at a Resource Group level when specific Resources have not been identified. This budget can be used to produce a quote to a Customer.
    • Review Statistics by Resource Group.

    Resource Groups

    Field Name Description
    No. Specifies the Number of the Resource Group.
    Name Specifies the Name of the Resource Group.
    Cost Type Specifies the Cost Type associated with this Resource Group. For more information on Cost Types, see: Setting up Cost Types

    Resource Sub Groups

    Resource Sub Groups allow you to further Group Resources. For example, for the Resource Group Consultant, a Resource Sub Group of Jr. Consultant and Sr. Consultant can be created.

    Resource Group No. Specifies the Resource Group associated with this Resource Sub Group.
    No. Specifies the number of the Resource Sub Group.
    Name Specifies the name of the Resource Sub Group.,
