Salary Factor Salary Factor is a proportional value used to calculate an employee’s salary when a pay period is divided across two different weeks. Specifies a decimal (e.g. .50 or .75) that adjusts the full salary based on how much of the week is included in the Timesheet.

    Salary Factor example:

If an employee earns $1,000 per week and only 3 out of 5 workdays fall into the current Timesheet week, the Salary Factor might be:

    • ({3 days)/(5 days) = 0.6
    • Salary for that week = $1,000 × 0.6 = $600
